The Bricher Crossing retail facility consists of 6,600 sq ft with an open floor plan providing the flexibility for future tenants of any size. This retail building was built in the same timeframe, and with the same contractor, as the neighboring Burger King Restaurant. Located off of the main thoroughfare of Randall Road, the design intent of the retail facility was to maximize the glazing and bays for good site lines from Randall Road for potential marketing as well as flexibility of door placement. The design of the building offers interest via: brick pilasters that frame each bay, clear glazed window fenestration, and by alternating panels of brick or solid fiber cement panels above the windows. Additional visual interest is provided via gabled parapets and multiple cornice heights. The façade along Randall Road is extended out at the middle bays to accentuate the symmetry of the building, and to enhance its presence. The opposite technique is used on the parking lot side, the façade steps in and creates a more welcoming feel near the entrances to the tenant spaces.
