Located off of Route 34, NE of downtown Oswego, IL, Panda Express is part of a dense commercial corridor within the Prairie Market retail center. A 3,200 sq. ft. Q.S.R. (Quick Serve Restaurant), Panda Express serves Asian-inspired, Mandarin and Szechuan cuisine and is designed in the same light.
The building consists of a wood frame with a Face brick veneer, and cultured stone architectural towers particular to the village's requirements. It also includes Asian inspired features such as iconic, u-shaped awnings with a black and white checkered pattern, and paper globe lighting.
Collaborating with five different companies from the W-T Family, this site took approximately 9 months, from zoning to completion. Communication Design + Development Group, LLC served as project manager working with R. Carlson and Sons Contractors.
